Project description
The church is located at the near junction of West Barnes Lane and Coombe Lane and adjoining with local retail parade and a railway bridges
and three storeys main building with adjoining car parking space.
The pedestrian connection from the street to the main entrance of the church has played a critical role
in the revitalization and the creation of new entrance as a destination in its own right.
The big idea behind this proposal is to create level access.
Two 1/20 ramps from main pedestrian street and main car parking space will provide level free access
for all church members including disabled, children and push chairs
And also additional steps to the front has been proposed, which blended into ramps creating welcoming entrance for the church.
The new canopy has been proposed where current entrance and fire door exist. We think that this canopy will provide weather protection for the church member. This will be built on minimum upright post supported by the existing wall slab.
